30 Weeks Down, 10 to go!

Week 30
How far along? 30 weeks, 1 day (can you believe it?!?! We’re so close!)
Baby is the size of a: large cucumber? Baby should be nearly 3 lbs and 16 inches
Total weight gain: 21 pounds. The doctor told me to back off carbs and sugar just a bit, but from what I’m reading everywhere, I’m at a perfectly normal weight! But, I’ve been trying to eat more fruits, veggies and protein.
Maternity clothes?  Yep.
Stretch marks? Still none. I’ll probably be the woman who suddenly gets a road map on her belly the day before baby arrives.
Sleep: Still sleeping a ton. I’m exhausted!
Best moment this week: Baby sales! We are officially DONE buying all the big ticket items for baby. Just a few more boring things to buy for me, like huge pads, breast pads, lanolin, etc.
Miss Anything?  Being able to walk without the feeling of a baby bouncing on my bladder. Not pleasant.
Movement: I can see him moving under my skin now—more than just little jumps. It’s a little freaky, but I like knowing that he’s still active and growing.
Food cravings: FRUIT. Give me all the fruit.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still beef!
Gender:  Boy!
Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: Mostly been dealing with heartburn and difficulty breathing—although we went up to the timberline of the Rockies and I managed to breathe ok even in that high elevation!
Belly Button in or out? In, and I think it will stay that way.
Wedding rings on or off? On! They only swell occasionally. This mild humidity is fantastic.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. Things are finally coming together with our move (we might have found a house!) and I’m starting to feel calmer. Also, I’ve been very happy because 2 close friends welcomed their daughters into the world this week and I’m so excited for them. Welcome to the world, baby girls!
Looking forward to: Moving in 33 days!!!
